"Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre; Sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings.” Psalm 33:2"
Music is a very important part of our world and an integral part of our curriculum and our weekly Chapel. As an enrichment class, it is a time when students learn about basic music theory and rhythm, as well as learning well-loved Christian songs. Additionally, we hold annual Christmas and Easter programs in which students of all different levels prepare a special program for parents and families.
Art class is designed to encourage creativity and develop artistic ability. Preschool and elementary students take art as an enrichment class with their homeroom teacher, while middle school students study the masters of classical and contemporary art. Art classes include drawing, painting, water coloring, and clay sculpting. Teachers guide students through the creative process and teach them to appreciate and improve upon their God-given talents.
