Elementary and middle school students attend Military Customs & Courtesies class every week. Students learn basic military commands, formations and some of the military salutes. Military customs are established practices of respect among military personnel. Military courtesies teach good manners and politeness in dealing with other people. Courteous behavior provides a basis for developing good human relations.
This enrichment class is part of the military culture in our school. It is intended to instill discipline, respect, responsibility, and patriotism in our students; all the constructive aspects of the military that impact us in a positive way. Students wear a special military uniform on this enrichment class day.
